Raising Rooted Hearts is an early childhood co-op community designed for stay-at-home mothers and caregivers. Our mission is for every child to be rooted in love and enriching early childhood experiences that help them reach their full potential, while supporting mothers in their natural desire to nurture their children.
Our program features a Reggio Emilia inspired curriculum within a supportive co-op community. In small, diverse groups organized by age, parents will learn how to engage their children in child-led play and inquiry-based projects. Since these play experiences and projects are driven by the interests of the children, each family can participate in deep learning experiences that foster early childhood education. This approach empowers children in critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. The mommy and me aspect of our co-op allows mothers and children to form lasting relationships, culminating in a portfolio that showcases their growth and development throughout the preschool year.
Hello! I’m a stay-at-home mom to two little heartbeats with big imaginations, who inspire me daily to see the world with wonder. They are the reason I began building this co-op community. My journey into early childhood education actually started during college when I worked at The Highlander School in Atlanta, GA. It was there that I was introduced to the Reggio Emilia inspired curriculum, which helped me reimagine the kind of life we offer to children.
I discovered that children are natural investigators—constantly conducting research, testing theories, and making meaning through play. They thrive when given the chance to explore, surrounded by nurturing connections with parents and peers, and when in relationship with the earth itself. This belief continues to guide my vision for our co-op community: creating a space where curiosity, connection, and community can grow together.

Each co-op group meets twice a week.
Your group will meet one day a week at the Frisco Public Library to engage in small group storytelling, art, provocations and play. The other day will be reserved for outdoor explorations, nature walks, community garden care or field trips to conduct research.
No, meetings at the FPL will be held in an intimate space within the library, not with the library's open story-time. Our small co-op groups are designed to foster long-term friendships and collaboration between the children and mothers. We utilize the Frisco Public Library to keep tuition cost accessible while taking advantage of such a great community resource.
Submit an application along with a $50 application fee. Within 24 hours of submitting your application you will receive an email requesting an interview date and time.
To make sure values and co-op expectations are aligned, we require all families to interview. We also want to take this time to learn more about how we can support you in your journey as a mother and your goals for your child's education and development.
